Through the use of the basic operations of elementary arithmetic—add, subtract, multiply and divide, I explore the way these symbols work out of a mathematical's context. By adding perception and colour, Synesthesia was the result of the equation.

Synesthesia is a day-to-day neurological condition in which two or more senses could be perceived simultaneously. One common form is Grapheme-colour where numbers or letters could be seen in colours, shapes or forms. Like all forms of Synesthesia, the experience is involuntary, consistent and memorable. Thus, Can You See What I See seeks to educate one on the everyday-predicament of a Synesthete.
