VICE, is an independent youth media company focusing on arts, culture and news topics. Even as social media gets more prevalent in our lives, websites still remain as an essential component of a business's online presence.

With a focus that is vastly different from the bigger players in the market, the look of the website is integral in representing their brand and what it stands for.

Given that it's a self-initiated project, I took the liberty to relook at the website's UI with new typefaces, additional elements; For example, the addition of an outlined box around the main images acts as a metaphor where there are always layers to unpeel in order to unravel the truth, whilst maintaining the brand colours of black and white. Apart from that, with the podcast industry seeing a major shift in popularity in recent years, the intro to a podcast player would serve as a great addition.
